Default Sim Card Question

Please Login to Remove!

Will the sim card from a sidekick 3 work in a unlocked 8800 or do I need to get a new card from tmobile?

Should work just fine. You will still need to have Tmo add a Blackberry Data Plan to your account, though.

Yeah I know all about adding the plans on...I was going to get a unlocked one off eaby...are there any things I should know about? Or any probs I might have with it?

Many people have had problems with used handhelds bought off ebay, but to each his own.

They need to make sure that their PIN is released from their carrier.

I just got off the phone with tmob and theu said the sim would work. Now my only question wall all the features of the phone work with a tmoile cad in it? will there be any problems? By the way its a new 8800 not a used one.

Yes, the features of the phone will work. Only thing that may not would be some feature that's carrier dependent. Can't think of what any would be off the top of my head, though.

PTT won't work but that's probably it... The service books are automatically pushed to your BB and handle configuration (unless there's an issue and they have to be manually pushed).
