This happened on a new 8800 but I suspect it could've been any BB. New owner brought it to me. Did and Enteprise activation which went OK. It then received our IT policy which requires a password. I input on that I knew he used on his old BB and gave it back to him.
Later on the screen was locked. However the BB was prompting for a "new password" not "password" If I input the known password it responed with new password cannot be the same as old password. If I put in something new and retyped it it responded that the passwords did not match.
My only solution was to nuke the BB and then reload it. Anyone know how this scenario could have come about?
