Exclamation change a keyboard settings

Please Login to Remove!

i have a interesting problem i have a qwerty BB and when i type text it puts a Z in the Y position and a Y in the Z position i looked in the settings and in the screen and keyboard options and found nothing that helps
any ideas or would it be better to just replace the bb??

Sounds like yours is thinking it has a German (QWERTZ) keyboard. I'm not sure where the language/input settings are specified but that might help.

Hmmmm I'm not sure but i thought that these keyboard settings were encoded in the firmware? maybe you can try to reset the devic. What model is it and what firmware has it running?
