Default Really, really weird BES problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I just switched to a hosted BES with ExchangeMyMail.com. They've been great, it's just that I have one small problem that no one, myself included (I do Exchange administration on the side, sometimes) can solve.

When I send email from my BlackBerry on my BES account, the winmail.dat file is attached. I have this account set up in Entourage on my Mac and Outlook on a PC, and they're both configured to only send plain text messages. And, when I send messages from both Entourage and Outlook to the BlackBerry, there's no winmail.dat file.

So, to summarize: the file only gets attached when I'm sending from the BlackBerry, and I can't get rid of it, even after changing all the settings I could find to plain text.

So, anything anyone has to suggest would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You're not the only one!! I have had this problem for 2 months now. I have been back and forth between exchangemymail and RIM.

At this time RIM is pointing back to Exchangemymail's server settings.
