Default Application Loader wants to remove timezoneotapatcher

Please Login to Remove!

Just found something interesting (and kinda irritating). I am using Application Loader to install a theme and when I get to the confirmation screen where it shows what apps will be removed/added, it is showing:

Unrecognized modules that will be removed:
net_rim_bb_timezoneupdater

The net_rim_bb_timezoneupdater was already checked when I started the process, and was still checked when I clicked Next.

Nice, now I have to reinstall the stooopid patch after adding the theme.

Are you using the latest version of DM (4.2 SP1)?

I noticed when upgrading that it kept the DST patch. I have NOT tried adding a theme or any other app through Application Loader to see what it tries. A test for later.

Yepper, using DM 4.2.1.8.

I had to re-do the adding of the themes after a hard reboot thanks to the un-patriotic error message.

Second try to add the themes appeared to work. I checked under Options and the patch is still there and shows 'applied'.

Weird. Maybe it's the Starbucks theme I'm adding

It said the same thing for me, but when I ran the install, it is still there.

Pretty sure that removing the patcher will not remove the actual patch.
