Couple things...

1. What simulator version/model are you using? Not all BB's have the expandable media

2. If you do this:

Code:
try {
     FileConnection fconn = (FileConnection)Connector.open("file:///SDCard/newfile.txt");
// If no exception is thrown, then the URI is valid, but the file may or may not exist.
     if (!fconn.exists())
         fconn.create(); // create the file if it doesn't exist

     fconn.close();
 }
 catch (IOException ioe) {
 }
Is it "happy"?

If you do a listRoots() - are you seeing the "SDCard/" root?

3. The "Mass Storage Mode" may be coming into play here as well.
When a BB device that has it is connected to a USB cable, and Mass storage mode is enabled, the bb device cannot "see" the memory card.

Within the simulator, I don't see any options for the removable media or on how to enter/exit "mass storage mode".

You also said "i create a file from simulator " - how are you doing this?
You installed your code onto the sim and ran it? Are you sure the file is really being created on the sim because I don't see how you'd get the sim to think it has a removable media card installed.
