Can you set different preferences for different email accounts. Example my bb address email inbox will alarm when receiving but my comcast coming in will not alarm and emails come in silent?

If you're on a Blackberry that's running OS 4.2 (Pearl, 8800), you can create separate notifications for each inbox.

I am referring to normal email. I want my least active boxes to chime and busy email boxes to silent.

Then, as Pizzle stated you will need to have OS 4.2 (the 8100/8800 Blackberry).

...or set up Level 1 forwarding. Messages forwarded as Level 1 can have different alerts from regular Messages. You can set one or the other to be silent.

You need to add a filter using your BIS account to forward messages to device with Level 1 notifications.

Yes, if you edit a profile you should see an entry for each account you've added.
