Default Filter all messages except for those from a single user?

Please Login to Remove!

I support an elderly attorney who is overwhelmed by the enormous number of email messages he receives on his BlackBerry. What he'd like to do block every message from coming to his BlackBerry except for those from his secretary. The idea is that his secretary (who has access to his Lotus Notes mailbox) will selectively choose the messages that he needs to see on his device and forward them on.

I don't see any sort of filter option that says "accept only from a certain sender". Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this?

My other idea was to set him up with a third-party email account (Yahoo, Gmail, etc) and have the secretary forward his messages to him there. I'm concerned about security, however, so it's not my favorite idea.

Is he set up through BIS? Or BES?

If BIS, simply log into the account and add a filter that forwards things from her e-mail address to his handheld.

If BES, set up a rule in Outlook.

He's on BES.

The issue with setting up a rule in Lotus Notes is that he still needs all he messages in his Lotus Notes inbox. It's only on the BlackBerry that he wants just the messages from his secretary. I would think that any filter we set up in Lotus would affect what he receives in his Lotus inbox, which won't work in my situation.

I can't seem to figure out a way to manipulate the BB filters to do what I need either.
