Default Blackberry 7520 - Messages List

Please Login to Remove!

I've tried searching, but unless I wasn't using the right terms, couldn't find anything like this.

All the other people in the office I work in have slightly older Blackberries - not sure which model exactly. The question I have is, is there a way on the 7520 to display more messages in the "Messages" list view then 9? All the older blackberries can display many more - as much as 15 at a time.

I've tried changing the system font but that will change everything except the font used on the "Messages" list view - it did make the actual text of the message shrink which was nice.

Any ideas are appreciated.

*bump*

Been a while... anyone got absolutely anything at all?

I'm to the point of willing to try abo****ely anything regardless of what I have to do. This is a small, but very annoying thing as it's causing me to have to open countless emails when I could just skim them on the main screen.

And where I work we get about 300 messages/day....

What version OS do you have? If you don't have the latest (4.1.something) I'd recommend upgradeing.

When I was using a 7520 (or even the 7100i with the 4.1 software) I could change the size of the text (from 10 to 7, for example) and I could see more messages in the list.

"App Version" is stating that it's 4.1.0.380. Is there a way to update that? I've never even installed the software for the Blackberry as we use a BES server.

Looks like you have the latest software. Does changing the font name and selecting the smallest size for the other fonts give you different results?

Nope - I can change any font/size I want and it will change everything except the messages window. Only thing I haven't tried is a master reset and then to re-do everything.
