Default e-mail control

Please Login to Remove!

new 8700c user. Using personal e-mail acct. If I have the mail to blackberry turned off from my desktop, can I turn it back on from the blackberry after I am away from the desktop?.
Or must I enable it from the desktop again?

when you are talking about desktop are you referring to BIS?

If you're on BIS you can only enable and disable mail forwarding via your PC since you have to log on to your carrier's BIS site. On BES you can modify the filters via the Blackberry itself.

However, if your BB offers the option to turn data services off and on (which really doesn't stop email delivery -- it's more of a pause) then you can do this via the BB itself. Your original post wasn't very clear about the method you were referrring to.
