Default Third party hosted BIS/BES accounts

Anyone know if there are any companies that offer hosted BES/BIS services? Or are they too tied into the mobile phone number?

Would be nice to have a SIM card (with network access) of my choice, and sign up with a separate BIS/BES supplier.

Would also be useful for when I travel to Finland - they don't have Blackberries there - the home of Nokia

Thanks!

Hosted BES is available but only with a blackberry data plan from a wireless provider. BIS comes from the wireless provider

There are plenty of hosted BES providers. A search here or on Google shoud yield plenty of results. IIRC some are even sponsors of this site.

BIS is only available via your carrier. You still need a Blackberry data plan in addition to any hosted BES service. BES service does not replace your data plan.
