Default Desktop Email Program unable to submit message

Please Login to Remove!

I am unable to reply or send new messages from BB8800 (BES with Cingular). error message is in the subject line. Been working for over a couple of months without any problems until today.
Any clues?

Have you spoken to your BES Admin? Have any changes been made to the BB, or the email account or to BES?

No changes on my BB.
Just found out another co-worker is having the same problem. Will email the corporate help desk.

message status desktop email program unable to submit message.

BES Admin found and fixed the problem at his end, when it was happening to me.

Are "send as" permissions set in the Active Directory? The BESAdmin should have permission to send as the BB user.

QuaCKeReD - One of the first things I would do for one of my users with this issue is to resend their service books from the BES... have your admin try that.

Check the App logs on the BES for BB Messaging Service warnings. keyword 'ppmapi'. Theres your Send As permission issue.
