Is there some kind of word application for my pearl? So I can save and send word documents to people? Also to edit them and such. And what about a zip program so I can view contents too, thanks in advance

Take a look at the following program from Handango.

eOffice Professional Edition by DynoPlex Inc. - Handango BlackBerry Pearl Software

I have never used it personally however I have read many post in these forums not exactly supporting the software. Search around for more reviews. Here is one to get you started:

No, you are reading that correctly...which is a reason not too many of us use the Program. As well, I believe that all your documents would reside on their Server. If I were you, I would wait until a company like DataViz comes out with a version for BB. Until then, you might want to invest in a Palm or Pocket PC device if you are doing a lot of MS Office editing...as Dataviz's Documents to Go has versions for both.

First, eWord is the program for word documents. It's 59,95 $. eOffice Pro (includes eWord) has more functions and applications - eCell, eSpell, View All, Play All, Online FIle Storage.
Secondly, the user decides where he stores his files. If he purchases eWord only he will have to keep his files only on his device memory because to keep files on our server he'll need Online File Storage.
Note all of our products are licensed, they are not subscriptions. All further updates and upgrades are FREE.
