Hi,

Does any one know cheapest monthly plan in China?
I understand it's 400rmb (55 US$) for limited use or 600rmb (75$) for unlimited -
But- need to pay a lot for roaming charges.
I go a lot to HK:

Does a monthly plan in HK cheaper? how much is roaming in China for HK sims?

Thanks

As far as I know there are no roaming fees for using HK plans in China mainland. You can check

Check out Peoples IDD & Roaming SIM, HK based but of course works in greater China:

http://www.peoples.com.hk/p_prepaid_sim_iso.jsp

I know they do mobile data service as a value add (check the 'Charges' page for the detailed info), and they were the cheapest provider I could find when I visited last year. A single $76 HKD card lasted me for two weeks using voice calls *and* internet, and I came home with some left on it.

Whether they do BlackBerry data, though, I don't know - sorry. :(

0.02HK$ tops per email as long as you do not use More or More All or attachment viewing.

Hint: blackberry only downloads first 2K of the message.
