Default Quick BB Messenger question

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, sorry to ask a question that's probably been asked a hundred times, but I keep on getting different answers from everyone, and I'd like an official answer.

Does BB Messenger use up my data plan? Or is PIN to PIN messaging free?

Thanks

If you have an unlimited data plan, no. If you don't then it doesn't as long as you haven't exceeded your allocated data. BBM and PIN messages use the Blackberry PIN infrastructure so they are considered data. The only exception so far has really been SMS/MMS but they're not data. Consider that any GSM device without a data plan can send and receive SMS...
