| Using the 8703e as a bluetooth connection... Please Login to Remove! Hey, First post here, but, My brother got himself a new phone with a micro SD card... ECT ECT, the works, and this re-awakened my interests in getting some video files onto my Verizon Razr V3e. (with no micro SD card slot... meh)
I've read you can get around buying that expensive software to transfer files by using a bluetooth connection. However, the only device with blue tooth in the house is the blackberry...
Enter google and these forums.
Well, I know (and have used) the blackberry as a internet "gateway" (which, may I add, is rather fast!) by hooking a wire to it and the laptop, and installing some special software for this. The question is, can I use that same software to enable bluetooth on the laptop? Overkill? yes... makeshift? probably, but, I'd rather not spend another $50 to get that software when I can try for free.
So, if perhaps I could just load the files onto the blackberry and transfer them, that's fine too, I just need to somehow use the blackberry's bluetooth to get the files onto the Razr.
If anyone has any experience with this, I'd be much obliged.
PS: if someone knows of some FREE software that just lets you hook the computer to the razr and pass the files along... I'm up for that too... |
