I am having a problem and don't know how to fix it. I have had my 7290 activated for 2 weeks now. The first week I had no problems. This week I am getting these messages from <network@etp1001.etp.na.blackberry.net>

the message reads "This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server."

What the heck is this and how do I stop it.. I am getting 30 to 40 of these messages everyday. I know it has to do with the redirector as stated on blackberry.net, but I cannot figure out how to stop it.

Can someone please help stop the maddness...

If you know redirector is the problem, have you considered using BIS instead?

I am a little confused.. BIS is what ? BES I know as the BB enterprise server.. I don't have that ... but I did notice that my icon disapeared recently ..

BIS is Blackberry Internet Server. It is the personal version and is for setting up your email if you aren't using BES. It comes with the dataplan so you are already paying for it whether you use it or not. You set it up like you would a POP3 account.
