Default Blackberry Questions

Hi there,

I am about to purchase a blackberry, however I have a couple of questions:

1) How does one have e-mail from regular POP3 boxes delivered to the device by push?

2) How do most of you maintain copies of e-mail on your desktop (Outlook) and your Blackberry?

1. One would use BIS, which is included with your Blackberry Data Plan on your account.

2. Please explain what you mean. Your question is somewhat unanswerable in the manner in which it was asked.

1) BIS data plan will cover the pop accounts... It will poll the accounts every 15 minutes or so...

2) In Outlook check leave messages on server, that way if you check them in outlook they will still be delivered to the BB

JimpsEd, yes your question #2 is somewhat vague...

1. Read this FAQ;
Methods of Receiving Email on BlackBerry - BlackBerryFAQ

2. Ditto Lunkhead's post. Exactly as I have my system set to work.
