Default Blackberry & Modem

Sorry that I have to post this. I know this been posted before but I can not find it.

I know there's a "How To" guide on how to tether your Blackberry to your laptop.

The only instructions I can find is this.

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ght=8100+modem

I noticed using SanFrancisco "How To" method is slightly different from the more "generic" "How To" guide.

To be honest, I actually like the SanFrancisco way of doing it.

But I am trying to get the JiveTalk IM to work on my 8100. I have a feeling it has something to do with the settings with the tethering.

So my question is, where is the other "How To" guide because I want to try to do it that way and see if that have anything to do with getting the JiveTalk IM to work for me.

Maybe there's no connection between those two but I want to give it a try anyway.

Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

It's here, keep searching. I think it might even be a sticky (but not doing to well on the memory now so I'm not sure). Cheers, best of luck!

I think it was in the guides section but I don't see it here.

Maybe they deleted it? I don't know. Since you are the only one responded, I beginning to think it was.
