Default Is there still an outage?

Please Login to Remove!

Using BES on the Verizon network. It seems we still cannot send from our Blackberrys to external addresses. We receive from outside and messaging within our Exchange organization works. Are there still issues from yesterday? Thanks!

Well, I am the BES admin. Everything from the server side seems to look fine. Is there anything I should be looking at in more detail?

Cingy here too. My BES emails started coming through at 8:30 yesterday and I haven't had issues since. But my manager still wasn't receiving messages today. We tried reactivation - no luck. Then we tried deleting his BES account and reactivation - no luck. Finally, we wiped his device and reactivated and this worked. But there has to be a better way. I'm trying to find out how many more people are having problems and if there are more we'll have to come up with a better solution. Maybe just killing the service books.

I've taken the battery of my 7130e out and put it back in, let it boot - still can't send mail to external addresses. The BES registers that something was sent but it never arrives at the destination.

I don't get it. My internet is browsing from handhelds is fine. Just can't get messages sent from handhelds to external addresses. I've rebooted the BES server. Replaced the battery in the handheld. I'm at my wits end.

I don't understand how my setup is dependent on RIM to work properly. ???

You may need to contact RIM (either via T-Support or via Cingular support to RIM) to have your SRP ID unlocked.....

My 2 NA servers are up and running fine (Michigan & Calgary).
