Default Verizon BB Data Plan

Please Login to Remove!

My wife is using a 7130 with Verizon.

Sh only uses email and gets only a limited qty a day.

After going over several months of bills, I noticed she is usally around 600KB and then last month was arounf 1000KB.

After talking to a rep, I switched her from the unlimited $45 plan to the 10MB plan for $25.

Does anyone know if the data usage on a bill could be wrong?

I just do not want to find out that all of a sudden, I am getting smacked with large usage.

Even on my BB 8703, I get a lot of emails and browse the web once in a while and I think my max is around 6,000KB - but I am staying on the unlimted plan.

thanks

I always average between 25-50 MB a month, but I use email and web a lot.
I would try the lower plan for a month. I think if your wife starts using the web, she could push above the 10MB quite easily.

It seems that $20.00 is a small price to pay for peace of mind and not having to worry about how much data she's using. It wouldn't take much to jump the data over the 10mb limit.

I also concur. Just one time going over could cost you more than a few months of unlimited service.

Interesting. Is she using the email at all? I just got a 8703e with Verizon. I have no data plan, so I do NOT have an internet browser, or email, MMS, etc. Just a phone with SMS. I still get 5k - 20k of data usage every day though. So with no features data features at all I can get 600k.
