Question OS 4.2 and full screen/messages

Please Login to Remove!

OK - so now that I have the new OS on the 8700 my messages screen isn't full screen. Anyone have any ideas how to get it full screen? It wasn't like this in 4.1 and all of the other apps are full screen.

UPDATE - Seems it's because of the header on the home page. I notice the messages screen goes only to the header with the time, date, battery life, etc..... still...anyway to change it?

Thanks in advance.....

Great idea, snowskier, thank you!

This also happens on my phone screen when answered - seems the same problem occurs there but the header is on the bottom.

I have also included a pic of my phone screen when answered - seems the same problem occurs there but the header is on the bottom.
That header/footer comes from the Dimension theme, I believe. It happened when I had BBDimension - Zen theme activated on my phone. It was annoying so I picked a new theme.

Makes sense...anyone know if there is another theme that puts the icons on the side of the homepage? I worked so hard in the original OS upgrading to get the Zen theme - but yes, this is annoying!!
