Does anyone know how to check data usage? Better yet is there a program that will alert you when you get to the limit?

I did searches on Data Usage, Check Data, Monitor Data, etc... and found nothing useful for single user non-BES berries.

FYI, after some more searching around I found out that Bell users can send a text message to 82273 to receive a reply with detailed usage information about their account. You can also check total uptime and other system info by pressing alt+cap+h to enter the blackberry help me screen.

Still need a line on data cap software though if anyone knows. Thanks!

As a challange to our ever growing developer member base; compose a small program for use on blackberry that will monitor a users data usage and issue a warning when the user gets close to a user configurable limit e.g. 4mb, 8mb, 25mb, 250mb. If it worked well and were priced right it could sell. I'd pay $29.99 for a download like that.

You should be fine! It only uses data if you refresh the page or go to a new one... If it stayed loaded on a page i doubt you were using data....

You should be able to log into your account online and check the usage...

Is there anything like that for Cingular users? I know they are supposed to have *DATA# working but it doesn't for me. I have unlimited data but I have no way to check my SMS and I only have 1000.
