Hi everyone,

Well I am really, really interested in getting the 7230 from Tmobile. I was going to pick one up on Ebay, but I have just had such bad luck with cell phones I would like to get one new, Just in case.

Do you guys think the price point for the 7230 will drop at all in the next two weeks?

Or do you know how an exsiting tmobile customer can get a 7230 new for less then the 340 they are asking?

To get one less, in two weeks, I don't see it happening, unless the 7100t comes out by then and is sold actively in stores. For an upgrade for exsisting customers, it's hard to say, to be honest I'm not 100% sure how t-mo does upgrades from voice to data. Perhaps the t-mobile dude here can provide a bit more insite as he's a direct dealer.

$340 not bad US or CDN? if you are going with an eBay phone make sure it will work on the network your subscribd to. Only Cingular BB's come unlocked out of the box. If you are based in the US Amazon and a couple others are offering BB's with a contract and rebates where you looking at $199 in some cases. Just do your homework before your purchase. Remember with eBay if it looks to good to be true it usually is...

I guess I should change my question,

Does anyone think with the relase of the 7100 that it would bring the price of the 7230 down at all.
