Default Data through Blackberry or Providers GPRS

Please Login to Remove!

I'm pretty new to the Blackberry scene and have a question that I have not seen answered elsewhere. I am in Turkey and use Turkcell. I have an unlimited Blackberry plan which works well for most software but have noticed that to use Opera mini and Piconews, I would need to put in the access point settings for Turkcell. I know what these are but don't want to put them in the phone as the unlimited plan is only applicable if the data goes through the Blackberry server and I would be charged for normal GPRS data traffic. Has anyone else come across this and if so, is there a workaround ?

Thanks, John.

Most providers route ALL Data via BlackberryRIM servers. not sure about yours but I would call the support line for them and ask the question. In the US all data including emails work via RIM servers and the carriers include WEB access in the data plans. Unlimited is always the best to avoid excess charges.
