Default BB 7750 - Cannot Sync Outlook Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

I have been trying to sync my outlook calendar along with everything else using intellisync. When I put it in the cradle and it starts to process handheld it will get through everything but when it hits the calendar it says to confirm calendar edits and then I have "xx" new additions which I accept.

Right after in the processing handheld calendar an intellsync error comes up that says "cannot open default folder in group". My guess is I am missing a setting somewhere and this is causing my new appointements not to migrate over.

Any help would be appreciated. Sorry I had to take so much to explain this but I figure more is better than less.

Thanks again.

Sounds like a possible corrupted Intellisync configuration. Try deleting the following folder from your hard drive:

%profile%\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync

Doing this will erase your Intellisync settings and allow you to recreate them.

If you are on 4.0 and doing wireless sync with the BES of your calendar, then you can also delete the service and add it back, which will sync the items from the BES.

I appreicate your help but for some reason I cannot locate that folder. It says it does not exist. I looked in the RIM\BB folder but cannot locate it.
I also tried a search of that file but same as above?
Am I blind or looking in the wrong place?

Thanks again.

Did you just get the 7750? Are you working through Verizon? My advice.... get the 7250 instead.

%profile% equals

c:\documents and settings\(your user name)\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync

This worked perfectly for me! BTW, I'm on a 7250. Thanks!
