Default HELP-Cannot delete messages from BES

Please Login to Remove!

Using Pearl..
On BES & BIS.

Cannot delete messages that I recieve from my BES account.

I can delete in Lotus Notes.
However when I try to delete from my handheld it will not remove it.
I get no error message. It will pop up the confirm delete window,I hit delete..but will not move. The mail icon next to these messages looks different as well-not the standard open envelop for a opened message. It looks like a blue file folder.I also have no messages filed or saved.

Anyone have suggestions?

This is a known issue with Lotus Domino BES and the Blackberry 8100.
You'll probably need to patch your BES.

See my response in this thread:

Go into your mailbox, click the scroll wheel go to options. Go into General Options. Change Hide filed messages from No to Yes. That will remove them from the inbox. Escape out of there back into the list of options. Go to email reconciliation. In this screen change your delete on settings. You have a couple of options. Delete from Handheld only, Mailbox & handheld, or prompt. When you are just getting used to your device, the best advice is to set it to prompt. Then when you delete a message it will ask you if you only want to delete from your blackberry or from your mailbox on your desktop and your blackberry. Escape and save.
