Is there a way to setup BIS filters so that it ONLY sends email from a few specific email addresses to by BB (like from my wife, parents, close friends) and does NOT send emails from other all other address (spammers, ppl that can wait till I'm at a computer or home from vacation, etc)?

Yes, if you have a list of those specific email addresses you only want mail to come from, you can set the filters at your BIS website to only forward those emails.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not sure how to setup the filters to not forward everything except a few. Any hints?

Does BIS automatically want to forward ALL email to your BB?

So far I've only figured out how to tell BIS not to foward my sent items from GMAIL.

OK... I just realized you can setup an email account in BIS and just have it always NOT SEND to you BB UNLESS it matches my small list of emails addressed.

I thought as soon as you setup an email address in BIS it would automatically start to send all emails from anyone.

Exactly, you got it--set the filters on your BIS site to only forward mail matching those specific incoming email addresses.
