so nothing has been working on my 7250, i've tried reseting it multiple times, and then once it did turn on and work for a little bit, and then as i was checkin my voicemail it made some beeps like i pushed a button, and then everyhting stopped working again! any ideas?

Make sure you do a hard reboot by removing the battery. If it still doesn't work, its time to call your operator and get a new one.

Start by taking the battery out, then under the battery the SIM should be under there in a little tray like device. Put your finger on it, slide it back, then it should pop up a little, take the SIM card out. Blow in there to make sure there is no dust or dirt, after 15 or so seconds, slide the SIM back in, pop the battery in.

If that doesn't work.. try this on the main screen (I'm honestly not sure if this works on a 7250 since I've only played with Nextel bb) hold the ALT button (lower left hand corner) and press LGLG. A screen should pop up with a bunch of command lines, click the trackwheel in and it should say something on the extent of "Clear Log" or "Delete Log", do that, confirm. Then after it finishes exit out to the main screen. Pop the battery out, hold the power button down for 30 seconds, unpress the power button, pop the battery back in.

I'll try and troll this through-out the day.

can't find the SIM card, i'm gonna go to alltel today and see if they have any ideas (i'm sure they won't) and if they don't i'll pry just hafta go back to my old phone! i have too much information i need to be stored on this for it to dump just a few weeks after i get it! thanks for any help though!

7250's are CDMA. In other words -- no SIM card.

still hasn't worked, i'm back on my old phone (and when i say old i am talking highschool phone and i'm a college grad). i'm sending the phone to a guy in houston,TX and he's gonna give me a free diagnostic on it and go from there. and yes it was an ebay phone, so go figure.
