Question Israel SIM Card in 8700g

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with an israeli sim card (preferrably cellcom) in their unlocked 8700g?

I'm near positive it should work, but someone told me it may not.

Any help is much appreciated.

Default Israel Sim Card

Hello and good morning. I have found a website that lists all the countries that has GSM service and Israel does operate on a 900/1800 network.

Here is the link: Do you need a Dual Tri or Quad Band GSM Cell Phone
Scroll towards the bottom.

I hope this helps.

The phone will work properly, but unless you have BlackBerry service from Cellcom, that's all your 8700g will be. A phone and SMS device. Nothing more.

Yup - that's what I wanted to know. Thanks.

I have internationa bb service from tmo which will be for my email and data and I got a cellcom sim card for phone.

Hopefully this dual sim card holder will come in before I leave for my trip (and it will work) so that I dont have to keep swapping them.

Everybody else have the same experience?
