Is there any way to send an sms through desktop connecting the HH via USB cable?
I know it is not possible with Desktop Manager. Maybe any third party tool or the "Microsoft Outlook SMS Add-in (MOSA)"?

Id like to know too. One of the apps I really miss about my WM handhelds is TrueConnect, which gives you complete control over your handheld from the desktop.

As an option, you can send an SMS message from any desktop by emailing to the phone number @ the carrier mail domain. For example . Likewise, you can use in North America and let teleflip.com figure out the carrier mail domain.

I know this is not what you are asking, but an option.

Are you trying to find a way to send SMS to a cell number from your desktop? If not... my apologies for misunderstanding your post. But if you are, what I use is 'Teleflip' from my desktop. I type in (in outlook...in the 'to' box) the recipient's mobile number as follows: ##########@teleflip.com (10 digits; no '1' before area code and no dashes betw numbers)
I also remove my outlook signature so as not to dump that info into the recipient's SMS inbox.

Since I am a VZW subscriber, I also use ##########@vtext.com

And finally, I have loaded several mobile numbers in my Trillian buddy list... also works.

Sending SMS this way doesnt go 'through' the HH and the recipients can reply back dircectly to my desktop.

in any case my question was about writing an sms on my computer and sending it to the wireless network through the HH connected via USB cable/bluetooth.
i tried "NexySMS" (NexySMS Software Profile Page) but after connecting succesfully i receive a warning message from the program saying something like "your phone does not support SMS commands"

I understood your need, that I why I mentioned the other options, should you not be aware.
