Default Stop the silver corner scuffing!

Please Login to Remove!

I finally got around to posting some pics of Rim holster. My first berry was all scuffed up from the RIM plastic holster. So when I bought my new 7290 I thought I would stick a few pieces of the Velcro on it, loop side only. It has been working great for about 2 months with no scuffing!

good idea. man i tried my plastic holster once but i had a heck of a time trying to get the darned blackberry back out of it lol. i haven't bothered with it since and i think i'll just get a leather carrying case for cost form my work. i'm a bit accident prone when i'm carrying stuff like that and i feel better having it protected a bit more.

You could also try eGrips. They work great. Look from them lower down in the forums. I have a 7100, but I'm sure they would be just as good on a standard form BB. I am in no way related to them, just a happy customer.

Hate to say it but the plastic OEM clip is terrible! I felt uncomfortable with the amount of tugging it required to remove my BB from it and tossed mine in the garbage. I have tried MANY holsters but have found nothing better than the OEM leather holster by RIM.

Amen to that I use egrips also they are awesome. They make it a little snug in the leather holster but worth every penny when I have the BB on my console doing 80 down the highway.

eGrips are great. I use them on the back of mine. It's helps get the thing out of the case, and does work well at keeping it on the center console of the car.

These are the days when I pride the speakerphone of the 7520. The raised portion of the speakerphone allows a better grip in getting it out of the holster.

Now, don't you wish you all had the 7520! All power to the 7520......!

Excellent Idea. I have the 7230 (the blueberry) and black is coming off on mine from the holster. (sigh)

I got a PM asking me to send over a new link to the picture this post orginally linked to. So I thought I would just update the picture on this thread. The picture and link are now updated.
