The saying "there are no stupid questions" does not apply in this case, because this is certainly a very stupid question. I have searched on you site (where I am sure this issue has been discussed), but wasn't able to track down the answer. With that pre-emptive apology...

I'm using the 7290 via Web Client, and have been unable to change the reply setting which will allow me to send replies without including the previous thread. Sounds simple enough. I was able to change this setting on the BB Web Client site, but not on my handheld itself.

Any thoughts (or a link to a previous thread) would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if being on a BES vs BWC makes any difference, but when I am in the reply to a message I can click the thumbwheel and there is an option on the menu to "Delete Original Text". I assume that is what you are referring to?

You're right, but I was wondering if there's a way to have that set as the default, instead of choosing that option every time I reply.
