I recently purchased a Pearl and I'm having problems setting up my work email using the BB Enterprise.
The 'tech guy' from out IT department is saying that my BB is blocking the Enterprise activation - it wont connect.
My pearl is pretty much straight out of the box, I haven't installed any new apps, I've added three of my own personal email accounts already and they work fine (gmail, hotmail, etc).
Does anybody have an idea what the problem may be and perhaps a solution?

Yes. You must connect via the BES setup first, before adding the BIS accounts. Go your to TMo BIS site, delete the BIS accounts.
On your BB, go to Options > Advanced > Service Books and delete the three email accounts that appear there.
Reboot your BB. Then try the Enterprise activation.
You need an Enterprise Blackberry Plan to activate on a BES. If you only have a Personal Blackberry Plan (BIS) then you won't be able to use the device on a BES.
You should also call your carrier to verify that you have a BES capable data plan.
This may be a silly question, but how do I delete the BIS accounts on the T-mobile site? Ive no idea which site that is. Ive already deleted the service books for the 3 email accounts…

Kieren - do you have the $19.99 BlackBerry plan or the $29.99 BlackBerry plan from T-Mobile. I think Penguin has it right here...
Yea, I know Penguin is right here, she must have a BES plan. And she's got to delete the BIS accounts before she can activate the BES, right?
ok, I understood you could not activate BES if you had already activated BIS, and that you must delete the BIS accounts first, etc...
Kieran, you don't need to then. My apologies if I led you through a fruitless effort.
I think they have the wrong plan.
