Default BIS BB email address

Please Login to Remove!

I live in Germany and I just picked up my new BB and the guy at the store helped me set up my BB email address. He typed in some other user name and the BB automatically set up my BB email address as this username@BBtmobile etc... I have tried changing this email address by deleting it and then trying to create a new one. But it just keeps creating the same email address. Is there something I am doing wrong? The instructions say to delete it but it still does it. Thanks in advance!

Was the BB on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server)? If it was brand new that shouldn't be the case but I would ask.

It's probably tied to the carrier and PIN. Call the carrier and have them remove and re-add you.

It was brand new but the salesperson helped me setup the address and he entered a user name saying I could change it later but I'm having problems. Will call my server tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys!

I would not worry about it if I were you. You should not be using it anyway, unless you want to receive a ton of SPAM.

But, to find it, log into your BIS account and it will be there.

Yeah, I am not going to worry about it. I just forwarded my Canadian Shaw email to my BB emthe help email address in Germany and voila... Thanks for the help anyways.
