Default Limit COD file size

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I am trying to restrict the COD file size to 64 KB so that i can install the app thru OTA (CodeModuleManager also fails if the COD file size is greater than 64KB) but few COD file size is always greater than 64 KB. Can someone help me to limit the COD file size.

Thanks.
Prabhu.

This could be my ignorance but I am not aware of any 64k COD file size limit. I just check and every app I have installed has COD files over that size. Is there a reason that it needs to be installed via OTA instead of the desktop manager?

Actually when u install using desktop manager the size doesnt matter but when you try via OTA the COD file size matters. The codeModuleManager API fails if the COD file size is greater than 64 KB.

For my app there are 8 COD files out of which 2 are greater than 64 KB and it fails to install.

I'm having the same problem. I did find this discussion:

KVM-INTEREST archives -- May 2007 (#24)

Although this is interesting, I haven't figured out how to limit the sub-cod sizes yet. If you figure it out, plz let me know.

Default 128kb limit

Hey guys,

try opening up the COD file with WinZip. Inside you should be the sibling CODs.
