Default Outlook sync no BES

Please Login to Remove!

Once I get my BB I hope to have it sync wirelessly with both my home and work outlook. This includes inbox, calander and contacts. Is this possible without BES or redirector? I plan to use TMobile.

Is it possible to run redirector from home and work to sync with the same BB?

If my job allows my personal device in its BES, can I use BES at work and redirector at home?

Is there VPN's so I can get to sites behind the company firewall?

How does BWC fit into this picture?

If I am reading right all of this is possible with OS 4.0 and because TMobile has TCP. Is that right?

First, try searching for most of the answes, but I'll hit on a few.
You cannot wirelessly sync your Outlook info without a BES. There are several hosted solutions out there, again, a search will find many options.
I dont believe that you can run the Redirector on 2 PCs, but I may be mistaken. Better to use the BWC for your personal mail, and the BES for work mail, if that is an option.

Trust me when i say I have been searching this, howard and google for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Trying to learn the capabilities of my new toy. i guess I am a difficult learn. Mail is not really my concern, I think there is so many options for personal mail that it doesn't worry me the least. My work mail is more important, we have the complete corp firewall so I am concerned if I can get mail from it's pop account and keep it syncro'd with the ones I respond to from my BB. This will let me leave the laptop at home from time to time.

I really need the calander and contacts to sync everywhere I go. I am so absent minded that I can never remember an appointment or number. How can I keep the three contacts and calanders in sync?

Trust me, I have searched and seen different types of setups but don't know which will be best for my purposes. None of the FAQ's begin with if you are a corporate user with no access to BES but need this to happen then this is the solution for you etc...
