Default transferring Email from old device to new

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to transfer emails that were received on a 7320, and I want to transfer them to an 8700g. The software, v 4.2, says that this blackberry is not compatible with file transfers...

Not sure what to do. Thanks.

Are you speaking of the Desktop Manager version 4.2, service Pack 2?
Using Switch Device Wizard in DM?

You can always email them to yourself. I think that still might be the only way to do it since email does not sync via Desktop Manager.

Wirelessly posted (8703e Sprint: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

Did you try an advanced backup? Select messages, then save the backup file.

On the new device, go to advanced backup and open the file, select messages and add to the new device.

I would recommend doing this with the radio off because this will over-write and new emails that are received after the back-up is created.

Email doesn't sync on any BB via any method. You can get full reconciliation on BES but it's definitely not the same as sync.
