Default Billing code for cingular internation add on plan - 05-07-2005, 01:16 PM

After talking to three Cingular reps on the data line, I learned that the billing code for unlimited internation data is

IUBR

It shows up on your feature list as

cwunlmtdblkbrybolton

I have the 44.99 unlimited BB data plan which is an add-on to my voice plan. The international unlimited BB is billed as a $20/month add-on to the 44.99 plan.

The billing code is very useful. Rather than hope you find a data person who knows what you're talking about, just call and tell them to add IUBR when you're about to travel and remove it when you return. This will protect you against their removing other things by mistake (like wap.cingular, which they did to me).

Thank you!! I travel internationally occasionally on business and used to do this with AT&T. I'll be on an Alaska cruise this summer and will need to add this for Vancouver as well.
