Angry Why must I keep getting confirmation emails in my inbox?

Please Login to Remove!

Every time I send an email from my bb using my gmail account, I immediately get a delivery confirmation email... with my vzw account I don't get that. Verizon tech support is the pits, no doubt about it, and they know nothing. Can anyone help make this annoyance go away?

Probably because you have read the Sticky Note at the top of this General Discussion Forum that tells you how to do away with the duplicate gmail!

They're not confirmations. You're getting copies because gmail doesn't have a separate inbox and sent items. The mail you're sending is getting forwarded to your BB because it hits your gmail as a new message and you haven't set up a filter to exclude the forwarding of your own messages (i.e. it's a gmail issue).

Or maybe it is delivery confirmations like he said. Go to your messages folder, go to options->email settings. Select your gmail account and see if "Confirm Delivery" is set to Yes. If it is, set it to no.

Default 8830 sending delivery confirmations...

When I receive an email message sent with delivery confirmations set, a delivery confirmation is automatically sent by my device. Once I found this was happening, I went to the settings described above and set them to no for all email accounts. The settings are still set to no, but the device is still sending confirmations out. I don't want them sent out. I have tried setting them back to yes, saving, then setting them to no. I have tried pulling the battery out of the device. Verizon wants me to wipe out the device and start again but I am not sure if that will help.

Any other suggestions?

If you are using Gmail with your BIS account, log into BIS and edit the email account to delete the AUTO BCC.
