Default BIS and Exchange 2007

Please Login to Remove!

I have searched and searched (and even called Blackberry support), but no one has a definateive answer to my question:

Is BIS not supported on Exchange 2007? I have had no luck getting it setup and it would seem that BES is my only option for users.

BIS works great. Set it up as a POP3. Maybe your company doesn't allow POP3 access?

WHat option did you pick when you installed Desktop Manager?

If you go to RIM's supprot site and search for BIS and Excahnge 2007 you will find that they do not play well together. BIS does not support it (yet). IF you have POP3 or IMAP enabled, that works.
