Can't Download BB Messenger
 

My wife's (Cingular) Pearl was having issues with the BB Messenger. I deleted it, then tried installing it from mobile.blackberry.com but I get a message stating, "Notice. Sorry, your wireless Service Provider does not allow access to Blackberry Messenger for your device". What...? So I tried it on my (Cingular) 8800, same message. On an (Cingular)8300, same message. What? Now Cingular/AT&T are going to charge for IM? But, when I tried it on an (Cingular) 8700c, it worked fine. I then tried to download it on a Pearl from TMobile, no good. But ok on a 7520 from Nextel.
Is this only on the newer devices? Any ideas where I can get BBMessenger for the Pearl?

I believe you can re-install BB Messenger using Blackberry Desktop Manager on your PC.
The application loader should be able to add it back, provided you have the handheld software on your PC.
