Does anyone know if there is a way to successfuly back up your Blackberry Mesenger contact list? I just finished re-added the majority of people that I had lost due to the wipe, and one of my good friends, somehow, is being associated with another user in BBM. All I can figure out is it is some kind of db error. When I try to message my friend, the messaging history for this other user comes up. I do not know how to fix this, and it was a PITA to re-add most if not all of the poeple that were on my list back.

Is there a way in desktop manager, to backup only the information that correlates to what users are on your list?

Yes use the backup feature and your BBM contacts should be in that file. Not sure if you can extract JUST those for a restore and can't look right now.
