Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I am presently using the trial version of message alerts. I understand how to configure the filters to do a specific action. However how do I configure the rest of the alerts? For example I have set up to filters to notify me of messages from my boss, but if a new message is received how can I get general notification as if I was just using the profiles part of the BB. Do I need to set up a third rule for all addresses? Does this application replace the profiles app? If so what do I need to set the profiles to. Also is there a way to use message alerts to change the type of alert? I usually just have LED at night, except for certain addresses, during the day vibrate with LED while in Holster and ring or other sound while out of the holster. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I am not real familiar with "filters" or the full capibilites of the profiles app.
Thanks in advance
