Default Port number blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I just ported my number from sprint to tmobile. I cant get my sprint phone to stop recieving calls and emails. Already cancelled the service. Sprint said it can take up to 2 weeks for the phone to quit communicated with the network. Can this be right?

generally 2-24 hours for a PORT haven't seen a two week port since say two months after they started to allow porting

Whoever told you that at Sprint should be fired. I do a LOT of porting to Sprint (for my users) and it usually goes pretty fast - within 4 hours unless there is a problem.

The port went great and works with my new Tmobile berry but I still get messages if I turn on my sprint phone. I thought they could just cancel the account that day. SPrint said they had to wait till the billing cycle was over. Sounded fishy to me just wanted to see what all the experts here thought. I have a friend that wants my Sprint phone but I cant give it to him cause it still recieves my emails and calls even after I deleted all email accounts and wiped the device. Weird~

Maybe you need to close your BIS account?
