Default Existing Phone Book ==> BB

Please Login to Remove!

I searched the forums but could not find the answer. If it's an FAQ, can someone direct me to the thread?

Basically, I'm a new BB user (ATT, Pearl) and would like to get my phone book entries from my Samsung phone transferred somehow to my Pearl. I've got Datapilot S/W for my Samsung so I can get the phone book onto Windows but I can't figure out how to upload 100+ phone numbers to the BB.

One more thing, I'm an Enterprise user if that makes any difference.

Any ideas?

Can you sync your Samsung with Outlook? If so, sync with Outlook then sync Outlook with your BB. You'll need to disable wireless sync in your address book on the BB before syncing with Outlook. Then turn wireless sync back on.

Unfortunately, the Samsung is a dumb phone and I can't sync it to Outlook directly. I'm doing some reading now and the Datapilot S/W may be able to sync to the 8100. I guess I just have to try it and see if I can make it work. Thank you for the response.

If you're using the same SIM card as you had on the phone, and the info you want was stored on it, go into the Address Book, Click the Menu button and select SIM Phone Book. If the info is there, you can Click the menu button and select Copy All To Address Book.
