Red Light Flashing Received new Message, but can not find the new message.

Hi Everyone, I have been using a BB for 4 years now, this just happened twice this morning, MY BB would vibrate, the indicator light would change from green to red, but when I checked my E-Mail boxes, Voice Mail, Blackberry Messenger, and other IM programs I can not find any unopened messages. There are no icons telling me what this new message may be. I have a 8700g on T-Mobile. With unlimited data plan. Any ideas where these messages are?
Thanks!!

Do you have any filters in place that move items to a specific folder?

Pop the battery out. This happened to me before when using blackberry messenger. Work for me.

Try the battery trick. If that doesn't work, you might need to refresh your email accounts. Delete them, then put them back on there.

Also verify that in your profile no other alerts are set to vibrate and set the LED to red.
