Yes, i searched....

how does Ramble IM function exactly? Is this free as far as running through the data plan when i am signed on? Does it use text messaging?

I look forward to responses..

It uses Data, not SMS. So it is free as long as you have an Unlimited BlackBerry Data Plan on your carrier account.
