Default Display settings?

First off thanks!
I am pretty new Blackberry's and I have to say all the info, links, and content on the this site provided by the community has been a huge help.

I did a bunch of searching here and on the Telenav site. I have a feeling that the answer is going to no, but I have to ask to be sure.

Is there a way to set the display to be always on? I am sure its has to do with battery life that it goes dark after 30 seconds of no actvity. I am not talking about the backlight I found where to change those settings. The reason I am asking is that I just installed Telenav and its great but my screen goes dark during periods of in activity the display comes back as Telenav starts telling that I need to make a turn soon. I would really like to able to keep the GPS screen up all the time and not have the display go dark. Is there a way to do this?

You might check the settings within Telenav. There may be an option in there to do it.

As for the handheld itself, there isn't inherantly, but there was a 3rd party program called BBLight that would fix that. You might try a search for that and see if it still is available.

Check Telenav's settings. There are options for the backlight. By default it's set on for turns only.
