New BB owner here. I previously had one through my work, now got one for my personal life. So I'll probably be here a lot!

OK. This seems to be a big sticky question:

I am going to London for two weeks. I set up the Int'l email plan w/ TMobile. ** Does anyone know from experience if I will get charged for Internet browsing or not? **

Alternatively, does it make sense to try it out and then check my account the next day to see if I was charged?

I went to Glasgow and London in January and I was charged for data. Yes I had the int'l email add-on on my account.

Ah. Got it. Oh well. Maybe I should start thinking about an unlock and a prepaid sim....

No. If you search you'll find mixed results. Some were charged, some weren't. I wasn't charged when I went to the Netherlands but be aware that you might get charged for browsing.

You can get data on prepaid. The problem is that it's pretty much impossible to find Blackberry data on prepaid. I recall hearing that there was one carrier somewhere that might offer this but I don't recall which off the top of my head (nor whether it was relevant to someone travelling to the UK).
